Introduction:
Yi LIAO is a professor and doctoral supervisor at School of Business Administration, Southwestern University of Finance and Economics. He has a Ph.D. in business administration from Drexel University. He is also a member of Sichuan Province Policy Advisory Committee of China National Democratic Construction Association, an expert of Sichuan Province Business System Expert Database, a member of Target Performance Evaluation Expert Group of Chengdu Municipal People’s Government, a director of Overseas Chinese Students Association in Chengdu City, an expert of Supply Chain Association in Chengdu City.

Teaching Interests
Dr. LIAO teaches courses in operations management and services management in the Swufe’s undergraduate, master’s programs and doctoral programs.
Research Interests
Dr. LIAO’s research interests include operations management, supply chain management, supply chain finance, as well as the crossing fields of human resources and marketing. His research has been published in over 40 top academic journals and has been invited to attend the INFORMS Annual Meeting and the DIS Annual Conference many times. He has also presided over and conducted a number of national research projects, including some Key Programs of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, General Programs of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Ministry of Education's Program for the Returned Overseas Chinese Scholars,Programs of the Central Universities. In recent three years, He has published his research in Annals of Operations Research, Omega, Technological and Economic Development of Economy, International Journal of Production Economics, Applied Psychology: An International Review, SCIENCE CHINA Information Sciences, International Transactions in Operational Researchand many other journals. He has been also consulted with several firms on logistics construction issues, such as China Post and State Grid.
